Design and Deliver currently offers four types of fabric that are in stock and ready to ship. Shantung Silk Shangung is a heavy silk fabric characterized by an uneven, ribbed (slubbed) effect, a glossy finish and a crisp texture. It is a dupioni type of silk that comes from the Shantung Province of China. 100% Linen Linen is a naturally comfortable fabric. Not only is the linen fiber strong, it is smooth, making the finished fabric lint free. Its luster is from the natural wax content of the flax plant. Creamy white to tan it can be easily dyed and the color does not fade when washed. Linen does wrinkle, but also presses easily. Our linens are offered in three weights; Limburg, Antwerp, and Monaco, with Monaco being your heaviest. Taffeta Silk Taffeta is a crisp, smooth woven fabric made from silk. Being a “high end” fabric, it is suitable for use in interiors for pillows, curtains or wallcoverings. Silk taffeta has a crisp feel and pools beautifully on the floor when used in drapery.
